Shehara is a fourth-year student at York University, majoring in Global Political Studies. A member of
the social media team, her role consists of collecting articles and data, and handling the project's
social media accounts, including creating posts, taking photos at events, and posting updates for the
larger audience. Having previously worked for an Ontario Board of Trade, she has participated in
federally accrediting the organization over the summer of 2025, and creating workshops as a part of
the organization’s Inclusivity project. Hoping to go to Law School in the future, her interests lies in
the area of analyzing colonialism's lasting impact on the Global South.
