Ajit Singh is a PhD student in the Department of Politics at York University. He holds an MA in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba and a Juris Doctor in Law from Western University. He previously held a fellowship with Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research and was a founding member of the editorial board of Wenhua Zongheng: A Journal of Contemporary Chinese Thought. His research centers on the political economy of development in the Global South, with a focus on Chinese development, China-Global South relations, and US-China relations.
